The conglomerate of exploding lights shot into the night sky. It was not time yet, the clock had not finished its countdown. The man at the control panel slumped forward. Blood oozed from his mouth. The back of his head blown off. Another man stood in the shadows, the muzzle of his silenced handgun emitting a ringlet of smoke. This turned out to be an easy mission; his target was in plain sight just as promised. Probably, the easiest ten grand he had earned in a while. He smirked and took a step backwards deeper into the shadows.
