Thank you for joining me on this sixth day of the “Spotlight” blog tour! It’s been a blast, and I’m most grateful to my gracious hosts and RRBC for this amazing opportunity to share my passion and joy with you.
Cheers!
In yesterday’s post, I shared my newfound passion for digital design and how I use it to share my poems and verses throughout social media. This passion fuels my soul. There is so much beauty in the process.
Just after I started sharing my poetry, I was delighted when someone would ask if they could print a particular verse or poem and share it with friends and family. I was beyond delighted!
But back then I was inexperienced when it came to presentation styles. As my experience with digital design advanced, so did my focus on presenting my poems in an aesthetically pleasing form.
Today, I’d love to share the poem A Mother’s Love with you. The poem can be digitally downloaded and printed from anywhere in the world. To learn more, please visit my website Whispers of the Heart.
This poem is featured in The Heart’s Lullaby and is also available with our Peace by Piece Puzzle collection.
A Mother’s Love
A mother’s love is gracious
Finding treasures few others see
With tenderness and grace
You inspired me to dream.
With a fire in my soul
And passion in my step
I built a life piece by piece
With no burden of regret.
It wasn’t always easy
I fell a time or two
Like a lighthouse in a storm
You were there to guide me through.
I can smile at my reflection
Because you chose to believe
For a mother’s love gave rise
To my audacity to dream.
But words sometimes fail me
So I pray you always know
That you are always in my heart
And will be forever loved.
