For whatever reason, I haven’t posted this until now. Sorry, Kory for the delay; I guess better late than never. Like this review, I held onto this book for a while before reading it, not sure why, just something that happened. I wish I would’ve read it sooner. When one thinks of zombies, they think of the Day of the Dead type of creature or Walking Dead beasts roaming the land looking for brains. Well, not to be a spoiler, it’s nothing like that at all.
Jesse Sullivan is kick-ass. From the first page I was enamored by her smart mouth, and almost blasé attitude about life. Her sexuality is intense and intriguing and funny; no really, I don’t want to be a spoiler, read it for yourself to know what I’m talking about. Her group of friends are amazing as well as she, but you’ll have to meet them like I did, I’m not telling you anything about them.
The pulse of the story is pretty fast, but I never felt lost with what was happening. There were plenty of twists and turns that kept me guessing, incorrectly I might add, about was happening next. This book is sexy and fun, and I can’t wait to read the next books in the Jesse Sullivan series.
