My #HorrorMovie #Review Of Hostel (2005)

I always wanted to be a surgeon, but the boards wouldn’t pass me. Can you guess why? – The Dutch Businessman

Amsterdam vacation, mad-cap adventure like National Lampoons or maybe even Porky’s, which is cool, it gives an extra layer of reality. Dude tells them about a Hostel in Slovakia where they won’t have problems getting laid. There’s a lot of non-essential stuff at the beginning, that I could’ve done without.

It finally starts to get good after their Icelandic friend mysteriously leaves the hostel. When they see him in the street they follow him into the Torture Museum, then turns out it isn’t him at all, only a similar jacket. And let the fun begin.

There are some great scenes in this movie, but for the most part I found it boring and drawn out. The first forty-five minutes of the movie was just a TNA show and didn’t really add to the movie. Once you get to the torture and murder scenes it’s spectacular.

I give it 3.5 out of 5 Stars.
