After being on my reading list for more than a year, I finally read Christian Boustead’s short story collection, Death and Rebirth, and I’m sad that I took so long. The stories in this anthology are amazing, all tying together. It reminded me of a darker version of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman comics. The first story is full of dark humor, and the others continue along with the same theme with the Angel of Death, well, except one, The Animal Within, which is a story I wanted more from. The description on Amazon is simple, A collection of short stories covering such subjects as a debate with an Angel of Death to the birth of a Werewolf, and nothing else needs to be said.
